Welcome to Whateatver (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to use the App on devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

The App offers a "Whateatver Pro" subscription that unlocks premium features (such as ad-free use, removal of item limits, and curated official lists).
The restaurants, lists, tiers, and notes you create in the App are stored locally on your device by default. Data is transmitted to our servers only when you actively use the following features:

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share, and you represent that such content does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.
The App's "Share Wall" allows users to publish their own lists, restaurants, and descriptions for other users to browse, like, and import. This section applies in addition to the other Terms whenever you use the Share Wall.
5.1 Content License: You retain copyright in the content you publish. By publishing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to reproduce, store, display, distribute, and adapt (for example to generate previews, thumbnails, or caches) that content within the App and related services, solely for operating and promoting the service. You may delete your posts at any time, after which we will cease public display; content already imported onto other users' devices is unaffected.
5.2 Your Warranties: You warrant that the content you publish is your own creation or that you have obtained all necessary rights, and that it does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Using other people's photos, reviews, or list content without permission is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for claims arising from your content and shall indemnify us for any resulting damages.
5.3 Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not publish:
5.4 Reporting and Enforcement: Every post provides a reporting function. We will review reported content and remove violations within 24 hours of receiving a report, and may suspend the account of the publisher. Reports in severe categories cause the content to be hidden immediately pending human review; reports in general categories do so once a threshold is reached. Temporary hiding is not a final determination of violation — final removal or restoration is always decided by a human.
5.4.1 Appeals: If your content is temporarily hidden or removed, you may appeal from the "My Posts" page in the App, explaining why you believe it does not violate these Terms. Appeals are reviewed by a human, and the outcome is communicated to you through "My Feedback" in the App. Content found not to be in violation will be restored.
5.5 Blocking Other Users: You may block any publisher within the App, after which their content will no longer appear on your Share Wall.
5.6 Account Suspension: For repeated or severe violations of this section, we may suspend publishing privileges without prior notice and remove all previously published content.
The free version of the App includes advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Subscribing to Whateatver Pro removes ads.
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the App and its content (excluding user content you create) belong to the App's developer. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that all data (such as restaurant addresses and coordinates) is fully accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss) arising from your use of or inability to use the App. We recommend regularly using the "Export Backup" feature to save your data.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time. We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.).
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you within the App of significant changes. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
